How is Silagen Different?
Silagen silicone gels and sheeting are made with the highest quliaty medical grade silcones. The silky feel of Silagen scar gel won't leave a wet, sticky mess on your skin like other gels do. The 1mm thick sheets, strips and shapes feature an advanced adhesion technology, allowing them to conform well to the body and still be durable enough to last for up to 4 weeks.

How Does Silagen Work?
Silagen acne scar gels and sheets create a protective barrier over the scar, which increases hydration and helps stop excessive collagen build up. This will help flatten and soften your scar, and reduce redness, itching and pain. The sunscreen in Silagen Silicone Gel + SPF30 helps to protect your scar from hyperpigmentation, an often permanent darkening of the scar caused by sun exposure.

How Soon After Surgery Can I Begin Using Silagen scar gel?

You may begin using silagen scar gel as soon as the skin is fully closed, after any sutures have been removed. Do not use on an open wound

How Soon WIll I See Results?
You will begin to see results in as little as 3 weeks. Best results are seen after 90 days.

15g Silagen + SPF 30

Description: Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 is the rst scar treatment to combine medical grade silicone with chemical-free mineral sunscreen. This fast-drying gel will help atten and smooth scars while reducing redness and itch. It is ideal for the management of new post-operative scars to promote the best aesthetic appearance of the fully mature scar.

The added UV protection helps to prevent permanent hyperpigmentation of fragile new scar tissue that can occur even with incidental sun exposure. This sun-induced discoloration can be permanent if not prevented. Silagen®’s nonirritating, chemical-free sunscreen is a safer option because it remains on the surface of the skin and is not absorbed into the skin.

Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 dries to form a thin, exible, waterproof layer on the skin. It creates a protective barrier with the ideal environment to manage and reduce scarring. It is important to apply the gel twice a day, morning and night, especially prior to sun exposure. Use for 3 months on new scars. Older scars may take up to 6 months.

Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 can be used exclusively for the full course of treatment or alternated with other products in the Silagen® Scar Renement System. Do not use Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 under Silagen® Silicone Gel Sheeting or it will cause the Sheeting to lose adhesiveness. Use Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 during the day and alternate with the Sheeting at night if desired

Clear Silagen Sheeting

Description: Silagen® silicone sheeting products are specially formulated 100% medical grade silicone sheeting proven to reduce, flatten, fade, and smooth scars – both old and new. They are self-adhesive and applied directly on the scar. All are easy to apply, reusable, and durable.

How does it work?
Silagen® helps to improve appearance of scars by protecting the scar, preventing excessive moisture loss, and providing continuous, light pressure.

How soon will results be seen?
Improvement can be seen in as little as 3 weeks; best results are seen after 3 months.

What type of scar will Silagen® work on?
Silagen® is effective on a wide variety of scars, both old and new including: keloid, hypertrophic, trauma, general surgical, burn, cosmetic procedure, C-section, mastectomies, and abdominoplasty
